Character and costume concepts for Westworld VR, which premiered at Tech Crunch Disrupt in 2016. As Mr. Nolan ended up saying on one of our early art meetings, "there's no fringe in Westworld."
Hair and facial hair concept for our background cowboys. With a tight deadline, we wanted to see how much variation we could reasonably get out of a couple given head models. As it turns out, a lot.
Facial sculpt by the lovely Jason Holt.
Interchangeable costume assets for our background cowboys.
Interchangeable costume assets for our background cowboys.
Initial costume concepts for our female host option. I was totally gunning for the first outfit, but probably because I wanted to wear it.
The second round of concepts for our female host, as well as costumes to match for her male counterpart. They’re wearing modern white uniforms in the first half of the experience, and so we thought we could reflect that in their Western costumes as well.
Final concept and turnarounds for the Imogen's dress.
Using Marvelous Designer to mock up the complex drapery patterns.
Gunbelt pattern for modeling.

Concept for our Comely Lady character working at the nearby roadhouse.
